QR codes, the most common of the mobile barcode formats, have not fulfilled their promise in connecting with large audiences, according to a report by consultancy eMarketer. As a marketing tool this may be the case but it should be clarified that this is not the QR code’s fault – QR codes DO NOTHING by themselves. They are not to blame. Don’t blame the Barcooooooode!The blame should be on QR code companies who have not provided comprehensive mobile services IN ADDITION to a QR code.
