The quality of a barcode on a screen can differ to the printed version and even barcodes printed to high standards can reduce in quality over time. It is all about the quality my peeps. Asking even the best scanners to scan a badly printed or damaged barcode is like asking you to drive in a torrential thunderstorm without windscreen wipers; a crash is inevitable. A big frustrating and unnecessary crash.
