All funds raised will be going directly to our chosen charities through the secure donation site GivenGain where we have a project loaded to facilitate the receipt of all monies (See the project here). As privateers we are funding the entire trip out of our own pockets. There will be substantial costs involved in us successfully completing the rally and creating the awareness and funds for our chosen charities. As such we are looking for sponsors and partners to assist us in limiting these costs which relate primarily to Vehicle maintenance, Fuel and Accommodation.

This is a major coup for us in that the immediacy of the online environment allows for up-to-the minute updates to subscribers following our progress, while access to this incredibly interactive and loyal base will escalate the amount of donations to the cause we are supporting. Joburg.co.za will also provide media coverage for Team AK sponsors, as well as coverage before and after the event.
